Kiran Traders was started in the year 1986 by Mr. Kollipara Kutumba Sri Rama Murthy along with his brothers. Like most businesses, the idea of Kiran Traders started with a dream and gradually ascended the success ladder with a lot of hard work.

In the early stages of his career, Mr.Rama Murthy worked as an employee for a grocery store in Vijayawada. While working in the store he understood the need for pulses and flour. Such commodities have a high demand and are easily marketable as they fall under the necessity goods category. With proper research and strategy, Mr.Rama Murthy with the help of his brothers established their own store - Kiran Traders.

Starting off with the business by selling pulses the Kollipara brothers slowly expanded Kiran Traders by adding other products like besan, wheat flour, rice flour, rava etc. With a proper flow in the business, they could set up a flour milling unit just in a span of a few months. Another great milestone they achieved in the early stages of their business was to acquire their own land to build the store premises.

Kiran Traders became a well-known store in the neighbourhood. They became a major participant in the edible oil trade market after receiving a lot of support from their regular clients. In the later course of time, Mr.Rama Murthy & his brothers were able to start a pulse milling unit as well.

Immense dedication and determination helped the brothers become pioneers in the industry with a variety of trades in Vijayawada. With a motive to meet all the basic needs of their customers, Kiran Traders inaugurated a supermarket in the city.

The firm was passed down to Mr. Rama Murthy's children after he had ran it for many years. His children are similarly hardworking and knowledgeable about the sector, and hence have a deep understanding of their customers' needs.
